La ciudad de las estrellas - La La Land parte como gran favorita de cara a la 89ª ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Oscar, cuyas nominaciones ha dado a conocer la Academia de Hollywood.
El musical dirigido por Damien Chazelle y protagonizado por Ryan Gosling y Emma Stone ha conseguido un total de 14 candidaturas a los premios que se entregarán la noche del 26 al 27 de febrero.
La cinta hace historia en los premios e iguala el récord de nominaciones que tenían Eva al desnudo, que también consiguió catorce nominaciones en 1959 y se llevó 6 Oscar y Titanic, que en 1997 logró el mismo número de candidaturas y finalmente se hizo con 11 premios.
La 89ª ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Oscar se celebrará la noche del 26 al 27 de febrero en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles. El presentador y humorista estadounidense Jimmy Kimmel, que debuta como maestro de ceremonias, será el encargado de conducir la gala que en España emitirá en directo Movistar+.
